Camp Director Eliza Coast comes home to Alexandria from Roanoke College. Eliza is an Alexandria native, and a student-athlete at Roanoke College, where she is playing on the softball team, and majoring in health and exercise science. She graduated from Alexandria City HS in 2022, where she played on the varsity softball team for four years.

 

Eliza looks forward to helping girls grow their softball skills and their love of the game. This camp is the perfect choice to help your player learn, improve performance, and achieve goals in a fun and professional environment.

Avoid the long drives away from home for high quality softball content, and come join us at Pioneer Baseball Academy for a great week of softball skills instruction, and other fun activities like dodgeball, wiffle ball, HitTrax, and camaraderie.

End the summer close to home, and get ready for the fall softball season kickoff with a great skills development camp!!

Summer Fitness Series

Fitness, agility and strength are the "cheat code" your players are seeking for diamond sports. Explosiveness is a core fundamental to every athletic endeavor, and Pioneer Baseball Academy is offering nine weeks of fitness, agility and strength building in these one hour fifteen minute weekday sessions. Monday - Thursday - 7:45am - 9am.

 

Get in, and get out -- early. Leaving the rest of the day for your athlete to hit, field, pitch or play ball.

 

 

Wes Doles is a private fitness, strength and agility coach who runs Player Performance in the Alexandria area. He specializes in speed, agility, explosiveness and strength training.

 

 

John Donnelly is a private fitness, strength and agility coach who runs JD Performance LLC in partnership with UpNext Baseball. John mentors and coaches young athletes to increase their performance on the field, by increasing their movement proficiencies.
